My main objective is for my clients and I to be completely satisfied with the work I deliver.  For this to happen, both parties (you and I) should feel honored.  I honor you by working to the best of my ability and giving you a final product you love and charging you fairly.  You honor me by understanding what my function is in this process, how the process works, paying an initial deposit to start the work and the final balance to receive the final product(s).  We also honor each other by taking full responsibility for how we communicate with each other.  I prefer clients who are easy to work with and are excited about the process.  If you choose to be difficult, please hire someone else.

How the process works:

The Q & A

After having a Q&A session with my client, a detailed picture begins to surface.  The more information I get from you at the beginning, the less time is wasted in the process and the more specific you are with our answers the easier it is for me to give you specific preliminary design options from the start.

Sketching

I sketch as many ideas as come to mind to get the most possibilities for the direction my clients wish to take with their design.  I like to come up with as many different possible “looks” so that you feel that this is definitely the direction you wish to take design wise.

Rendering

Once we agree on the direction, the actual designing begins.  I have different computer programs I use for designing.  Xara and Photoshop are two I use frequently.

Presenting Design and Your Feedback

Design options are supplied as PDF files. The work will be presented in black and white which helps you concentrate on the shape and form of the identity. Color options are also shown, if necessary.  You now get to spend time with and think about the designs and prepare your feedback.

Final Revisions

Following client review, the project is either finished or revisions previously agreed upon will be made. The objective is to create graphics (logos, business cards, packaging, etc.) that totally work for you and your business and continue to do so for many years to come.

File creation and supply

Vector artwork is sent via email, or made available for download.

Vector files can be scaled to any size without loss of quality, unlike a raster file, which becomes pixelated when enlarged.

I’m happy to cater to specific file requests.

Optional business stationery

The graphcis I design are used for a wide variety of purposes — websites, corporate stationery, vehicle wraps, billboard advertising, etc.  There are many options.

Customer service

My service doesn’t end once clients pay the final installment. I’m always available to answer design-related questions, to offer my opinion on how the design has been applied, or offer design assistance in whatever way I can.

Rate

I charge a flat hourly rate which we can discuss when you decide to hire me.
